Purposes
To serve as a local unit of the Louisiana Retired Teachers' Association and to maintain affiliation with the National Retired Teachers' Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
To further the interests and welfare of our membership in the state and local community.
To foster good fellowship among retired teachers and associate members.
To encourage members to use their talents, training and experience to further the educational, social, and civic growth of the community, the state, and the nation.
To educate and influence legislators on matters of importance to retirees and active educators.
